In our recent newsletter we mentioned that we would organize a couple of public lectures on contemporary art. These lectures will focus on big themes in art history in connection with artist we present at our gallery. We now have established the themes and dates.
Jeroen Chabot, dean of the Willem de Kooning Academy (WDKA Art Academy) in Rotterdam, will present the lectures. Each lecture will be scheduled twice.
If you are interested in one or more of these free lectures, please subscribe beforehand via email@example.com
LECTURE 3: THE PERSONALITY OF THE ARTIST
Wednesday September 18th 19:30 - Sunday September 22th 15:00
So many myths exist about the personality of artists. Keisuke Matsuura tries to be invisible where his work is concerned.
We look at all sorts of types of artists and come to an understanding of the artist and his work.
LECTURE 4: REASON AND EMOTION
Wednesday November 6th 19:30 - Sunday November 10th 15:00
